-National Organic Awards are welcomed back to SHOP 2008-

SHOP - Ireland’s leading food and drink event, which takes place at the RDS on the 29th Sept – 1st Oct - will welcome the return of the prestigious National Organic Awards for its second year. Organised by Bord Bia and the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the awards will celebrate innovation and excellence of products across the organic Food and Drinks range.

SHOP…THE ARTISAN WAY!

-Largest number of artisan producers join the strong turn out at SHOP-

Organisers of SHOP, Expo Events, have announced the attendance of the largest number of artisan producers ever at SHOP 2008. Ireland’s primary food & drink exhibition, which takes place at RDS Simmonscourt - Monday, 29th Sept to Wednesday, 1st Oct 2008 -, will see an increase of 25% in the number of Irish produce companies exhibiting under the County & City Enterprise Boards (CEB) stand this year.

- Food & Drink Event Already 20% Ahead on Stand Sales This Year.

Organisers Expo-Events, have announced a massive increase in stand sales for SHOP 2008, Ireland’s primary food & drink exhibition which takes place at RDS Simmonscourt. (Monday, 29th Sept to Wednesday, 1st Oct 2008).  Already 20% ahead on stand sales compared to a hugely successful event last year and with all-new international features on the menu for 2008, Expo Events are urging all food and drink specialists with an interest to sign up fast!

SHOP 2008 has enjoyed the international seal of approval with the announcement that both the World Cheese Awards and the Guild of Fine Foods will feature at the event this year – Monday, 29th Sept to Wednesday, 1st Oct 2008 at the RDS.
